About the Role
The Product Manager position at Twilio is a critical role that entails leading the development and launch of new products, driving product strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. As a key member of the Onboarding and Compliance product team, you will be responsible for creating streamlined and lovable onboarding experiences for customers while maintaining best-in-class compliance standards. The team's focus is on making it easy for customers to access Twilio's communication APIs while ensuring proper registration in accordance with local telecommunications regulations.The role requires a deep understanding of the product development process, from collecting and developing business requirements to partnering with engineering teams to translate these requirements into user stories. You will also be responsible for developing and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, as well as partnering with GTM to launch products and enable sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and growth.
What You Will Do
- Collect and develop business requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to translate these requirements into user stories
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive product planning, design, execution, and delivery of product investments against defined success metrics
- Develop, communicate, generate excitement for, and obtain buy-in of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Partner with GTM to launch products and enable sales and marketing teams to obtain product adoption and growth
- Conduct regular data-driven business reviews that analyze product execution and revenue/market accomplishments
- Own various Senders and Numbers products, aiming to create streamlined and lovable onboarding experiences while maintaining best-in-class compliance standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and deliver product features
- Work closely with the design team to create user-centered design solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and marketing teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive product innovation
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management in SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS
- Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving product strategies
- Command of analytical thinking skills with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make product decisions, get executive buy-in, and drive towards measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and present effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding and the ability to dive deep while also keeping perspective on the big picture
- Experience with GTM and Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
