About the Role
As a Staff Product Operations Specialist at SoSafe, you will play a vital role in enabling product teams to make high-quality decisions at pace, supporting clear prioritization, sensible trade-offs, and calculated risk-taking. You will operate as a senior individual contributor, shaping and evolving product operating practices, rituals, and feedback loops that help teams move fast, make good decisions, and learn continuously. Your expertise will be crucial in reducing friction and breaking down silos between Product, Design, and Engineering, ensuring that customer, business, and delivery signals inform product direction and roadmap decisions.SoSafe's award-winning awareness platform is designed to provide effective and engaging training and simulations on cybersecurity and data protection. As a key member of the product operations team, you will contribute to the company's mission to make the digital world safer by addressing the human factor in cybersecurity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering, to ensure that strategy, discovery, delivery, and outcomes stay meaningfully connected as the company scales.
The role is open to candidates currently based in and legally authorized to work in the UK, Portugal, or Ireland. You will be expected to be proactive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and have a deep understanding of how strong product teams operate across discovery, delivery, and outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Help shape and evolve how product work happens at SoSafe, from strategy and discovery through delivery and learning
- Enable Product Managers to make high-quality decisions at pace, supporting clear prioritization, sensible trade-offs, and calculated risk-taking
- Partner closely with Design to improve how discovery, design intent, and delivery connect as the organization scales
- Reduce friction and break down silos between Product, Design, and Engineering by improving shared context and ways of working
- Strengthen how customer, business, and delivery signals inform product direction and roadmap decisions
- Design and facilitate planning, review, and retrospective sessions on outcomes, learning, and continuous improvement
- Introduce systems, standards, and tools that improve focus, clarity, and execution without slowing teams down
- Improve visibility into progress, risks, and decisions for teams and leadership without turning ProdOps into a reporting function
- Spot patterns where the system isn’t working well and help teams course-correct early
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in Product Operations in a scaling product organization
- Deep understanding of how strong product teams operate across discovery, delivery, and outcomes
- Strong product-first systems thinker with a pragmatic bias for execution
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and shaping decisions without formal authority
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in modern product development and software delivery practices
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Opinionated, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Strong understanding of Excel and its applications in product operations
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a cybersecurity or data protection environment
- Knowledge of behavioral science and data-driven learning
- Familiarity with human risk management approaches
- Certification in product operations or a related field
