About the Role
As a Staff R&D/Product Dvl Engineer at TE Connectivity, you will be part of the Signal Integrity team, focusing on the electrical design, simulation, and verification-validation testing of high-speed products. Your expertise will be crucial in developing products that meet the demands of high-speed communications and data centers. You will work independently on projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute leading-edge product designs.The Signal Integrity team plays a critical role in the development of TE Connectivity's products, and as a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for guiding the design process from initial analysis to prototype fabrication and evaluation. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of its customers.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement signal integrity design methodologies for high-speed products
- Perform signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards on each product
- Determine the correct simulation methodology and setup to use, as well as the criteria for each interface
- Perform PCB design schematic and layout reviews
- Create actionable recommendations based on design reviews and simulation results
- Guide connector design and component qualifications from a signal integrity standpoint
- Make data-driven decisions about product functionality and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute leading-edge product designs
- Work with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless production of high-quality products
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical design, RF design, or PCB design
- Proficiency with signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent tools)
- Solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret simulation and lab data
- Familiarity with printed circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) to facilitate global communication
- Ability to work in a global environment and accommodate varying time zones
- Highly motivated, quick learner, and able to work independently

- Experience with high-speed communications and data centers
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in signal integrity design
- Certification in a relevant field (e.g., RF design or signal integrity)
