Job Description

About the Role

Stripe is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Subscriptions team, focusing on developing and extending its public Contracts API to support complex recurring payments. This role involves designing and building elegant APIs that enable merchants to run and scale their businesses on Stripe.

Responsibilities

  • Help build the next generation of Subscription primitives to power higher-order APIs
  • Lead in designing, developing, and delivering optimized product experiences
  • Partner with engineering, product, and design leadership to define the product-led growth strategy
  • Establish best practices and frameworks to measure feature impact
  • Develop and lead the team to execute against short-term and long-term roadmaps
  • Work with languages and technologies like Ruby, Java, and Typescript
