About the Role

The Developer Experience organization at Reddit aims to design, develop, and support efficient and reliable tools and processes for common developer workflows. This Staff Software Engineer role, specific to the Build and Code Platform team, focuses on continuous integration, build infrastructure, source control, code review, and other related internal developer tools.

Responsibilities

  • Scaling Reddit’s build infrastructure, code review experience, and other tools to serve a growing engineering organization.
  • Designing the next evolution of Reddit’s build and continuous integration tooling.
  • Architecting an integrated SDLC platform to reduce feedback cycles.
  • Making code writing, reviewing, testing, and shipping easy and efficient.
  • Improving the code review experience for developers.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve developer efficiency, confidence, and service reliability.
