Staff Software Engineer

## About the Role As a Staff Software Engineer on the Security Enablement Engineering team, you will architect and build scalable software solutions. Your focus will be on simplifying complex security workflows, integrating global security technologies, and improving operational efficiency for security teams.

## Responsibilities - Designing microservices - Building automation pipelines - Developing APIs that enable secure integrations across infrastructure, applications, and safety systems - Guiding technical direction and leading architectural decisions - Mentoring engineers to establish engineering standards that improve developer productivity and scalability

## Requirements - 8+ years of experience as a software engineer in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or security engineering disciplines - Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices in large-scale production environments - Strong experience building internal platforms, developer tooling, or automation systems - Highly skilled in backend development using programming languages such as Python - Experience with cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, including infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform

- Develop a strong portfolio showcasing your experience with distributed systems and microservices, highlighting projects that demonstrate scalable and secure solutions.

• Be prepared to discuss your approach to leading technical direction and making architectural decisions that balance security and efficiency.
• Practice explaining complex security workflows and how you would simplify them through software solutions.
