Job Description

About the Role

As a Staff Software Engineer at Sully.ai, you will be pivotal in architecting and scaling AI systems within the Engineering Research team. This position blends full-stack engineering with a deep focus on large language model (LLM) integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement cross-agent systems powering Sully.ai experiences.
  • Build and scale full-stack product components using TypeScript, React, and Python.
  • Integrate LLMs into production workflows, ensuring strong contracts, observability, and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Develop shared UI components and typed SDKs to unify cross-agent experiences.
  • Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to direct engineering efforts.

Requirements

  • Extensive full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.
  • Proven capability in designing and scaling LLM-powered applications.
  • Strong expertise in API design, streaming, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Ability to build reliable systems with measurable performance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with WebRTC or audio-aware UI design.
  • Practical knowledge of agentic AI frameworks.
  • History of creating design tokens or cross-agent platforms.
