Job Description

About the Role

ZenBusiness is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work closely with engineers, product owners, and designers to deliver new product features and enhancements. This remote role will focus on architecting and implementing high-performance backend systems and building user experiences with React.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality, predictable, observable code and deliver it to production
  • Own the delivery of new products by working iteratively with the design, engineers, and product owners
  • Work in an agile, data-driven environment and have true ownership of the features you work on
  • Serve as a technical leader and mentor for the engineering team

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of relevant software development experience
  • Experience shipping web-based products and working with designers and product owners
  • Extensive experience with operations, API development, and modern service-oriented architecture
