About the Role

The Staff Solutions Architect role at Twilio is a critical position that sits at the intersection of solution architecture, user journey mapping, data mapping, integration patterns, and Salesforce platform administration. As a key member of the GTM Solution Architecture and Design team, you will be responsible for building future-proof next-generation Q2C platforms and managing solution design for the GTMA Contract Lifecycle team. Your expertise will be crucial in driving operational excellence, scalable governance, system analysis, platform health, and compliance readiness across Quote-to-Cash workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong business process expertise with technical depth in Salesforce and enterprise GTM ecosystems. You will partner closely with various teams, including Sales Operations, GTMA Systems, GTMA Product, Twilio Engineering, Integration Engineering, Zuora, and MDM teams. Your ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders will be essential in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and program managers to architect and manage solutions within Salesforce and adjacent technologies for the Contract Lifecycle Management team.
  • Develop and maintain a holistic view of CRM-based processes and user personas to ensure compatibility with upstream and downstream systems and processes.
  • Communicate regularly with a diverse group of stakeholders, including those with varying levels of technical acumen.
  • Lead projects end-to-end to improve the way Go-To-Market and internal teams track and manage CPQ/CLM products, in partnership with the product owner and product manager.
  • Work with Product Managers to architect and implement solutions within Salesforce, including architecting automation and system behavior using Lightning Components, Apex, and Flow.
  • Ensure scalability, system health, and end-user personas/experience in all solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, considering varying priorities and levels of technical acumen among stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing roadmap design and ownership in combination with the product owner and product manager.
  • Advocate for technology best practices and represent technology stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of extensive experience with Salesforce and Order-to-Cash implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale automation within a CLM and e-signature tool (preferably Conga + DocuSign) inside the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce declarative automation, Conga X-Author, document templates, and DocuSign APIs.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to capture and convey complex information effectively.
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with distributed teams.
  • Strong business process expertise, combined with technical depth in Salesforce and enterprise GTM ecosystems.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence, scalable governance, system analysis, platform health, and compliance readiness across Quote-to-Cash workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Certification in Salesforce Administration or Development.
  • Experience working in the communications or technology industry.
