About the Role

The Starlink Growth Manager position at SpaceX is a pivotal role focused on expanding the adoption of Starlink's satellite broadband internet services across the US Northeast region. This entails developing and executing local growth strategies, fostering partnerships, and driving sales efforts to increase consumer subscribers. The role is key to SpaceX's mission of making high-speed internet accessible to all, especially in rural and underserved areas. As part of the Growth Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end growth strategy in the region, working closely with various stakeholders, including sales, product, marketing, operations, engineering, and finance teams.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the US Northeast region, aligned with SpaceX's overall mission and goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and build new customer acquisition channels, including partnerships with internet service providers, affiliates, utilities, retailers, installers, real estate partners, community organizations, and local governments.
  • Drive deal execution from opportunity identification through commercial agreements and partner launch, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
  • Represent Starlink in external discussions with prospective commercial partners and community stakeholders, promoting the value and benefits of Starlink's services.
  • Lead local marketing and awareness initiatives, including field marketing, community events, trade shows, retail activations, and grassroots campaigns to build Starlink's brand presence and visibility throughout the region.
  • Collect and synthesize customer and partner feedback to influence product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches, ensuring that Starlink's services meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Track and report on subscriber acquisition performance, partner productivity, and campaign / growth initiative ROI, using data to inform future growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute pilots and growth experiments to identify high-performing acquisition channels and strategies.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, growth, sales, marketing, consulting, or operations, preferably in consumer technology, telecommunications, or subscription-based services.
  • Proven track record of success in driving growth through partnerships, sales, and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong execution mindset and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Excel and other data analysis tools, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Knowledge of the consumer technology and telecommunications industries, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
