About the Role

The Office of Energy & Sustainability is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team in a remote capacity. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving digital projects and sustainability efforts forward, leveraging your expertise in energy engineering to inform and improve our operations. What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement digital strategies to drive sustainability efforts forward
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and optimize energy efficiency
  • Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for reduction of energy consumption
  • Work closely with the commissioning team to ensure that all systems are functioning properly
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in energy engineering and sustainability
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on sustainable practices and energy efficiency
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in energy engineering, sustainability, or a related field
  • Strong background in digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience with remote work and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of sustainable practices and energy efficiency principles
  • Experience with energy audits and commissioning

Nice to Have

  • Experience with leadership or management
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
  • Certification in energy management or a related field
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
