About the Role
The Store Development Manager is a critical role at Bagel Brands, responsible for the end-to-end development of new locations, from site identification through store opening. This position requires a unique blend of real estate expertise, market analysis skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including internal teams, brokers, and developers. What You Will Do
- Own the full lifecycle of each assigned project, from site identification through store opening, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and brokers, negotiating purchase or leasing agreements that meet the company's business objectives.
- Manage existing real estate portfolio, negotiating new lease agreements and renewals, and coordinating reinvestment matters with internal partners.
- Lead site searches, recommendations, and selections for new or repositioned locations, aligning with site selection criteria and market strategy.
- Create real estate and market presentations for consideration, analysis, or project approval, including market maps, aerials, demographic studies, and market performance data.
- Support the real estate team in determining the economic viability of projects by inputting data into financial models to create new store financial reports.
- Manage location analysis platforms to ensure accurate, up-to-date data and modeling for sales forecasting, analytics, and reporting.
- Participate in the evaluation and assessment of new markets, identifying opportunities for growth and potential challenges.
