About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive 3 role at Twilio is a critical position that requires a unique blend of sales, analytical, and consultative skills. As a senior member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding Twilio's most important customer accounts in the Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences sectors. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing and executing account strategies, identifying new revenue opportunities, and building deep partnerships with cross-functional teams.The success of Twilio's Communications platform relies heavily on the ability of its sales team to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Strategic Account Executive 3, you will play a key role in achieving these goals, working closely with product management, finance, support, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. Your expertise in managing complex customer relationships, coupled with your ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities, will be essential in driving business growth.

What You Will Do
- Manage and expand Twilio's most important customer accounts in the Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences sectors
- Develop and execute account strategies to deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify new revenue opportunities and drive business growth
- Serve on a cross-functional account team with representatives from product, finance, support, and services teams
- Run a disciplined forecast, consistently achieve goals, and present guidance to executive management
- Run highly consultative sales cycles with Twilio's largest customers, focusing on deep discovery and effective championing of their needs
- Generate and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast utilizing Salesforce
- Establish yourself as a trusted subject matter expert and share industry updates and changes with the GTM sales organization
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and best practices
- Provide input on product development and roadmap to ensure alignment with customer needs
What We Are Looking For
- 5 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to mid-market, major account, or strategic sales
- Expertise in managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions for customers
- Strong analytical and consultative sales skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Experience working with GTM, Salesforce, and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build deep partnerships with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs
- Experience working in the Financial Services and Health & Life Sciences sectors is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications
