About the Role

The Strategic Account Executive role at Twilio is a key position for driving growth and revenue within the High Tech vertical. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key High Tech customer accounts, developing and executing account strategies, and driving the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closure.

What You Will Do

  • Manage and strategically expand relationships with High Tech customer accounts
  • Develop, drive, and execute account strategies to consistently deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results
  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closure, including launch
  • Run highly consultative sales cycles with a focus on deep discovery and understanding customer needs
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the customer organization, including developers, managers, and executives
  • Serve on a cross-functional account team with representatives from product, finance, partners, support, and services teams
  • Run a disciplined forecast, consistently achieve goals, and present guidance to executive management
  • Understand customer technical requirements and map them to Twilio's communications API platform
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design solutions for customer-specific use cases

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year dedicated to major account or strategic sales
  • A track record of selling complex technical solutions and managing large, strategic accounts
  • Experience working with business and technical leaders, influencing their understanding, and building supportive partnerships
  • Strong understanding of the High Tech industry and its trends
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a remote-first environment and managing remote relationships
