About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive 3 at Twilio, you will be responsible for leading relationships with growth and mid-market Communications platform customers. You will drive highly analytical and consultative sales cycles with customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify new revenue opportunities. Your success will depend on building deep partnerships across product management, finance, support, and operations.The role entails managing and expanding key customer accounts, developing and executing account strategies, and serving on a cross-functional account team. You will be responsible for running a disciplined forecast, achieving revenue goals, and presenting guidance to executive management. Your expertise in Salesforce and Excel will be essential in managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer relationships.

What You Will Do
- Manage and expand key customer accounts in the growth and mid-market Communications platform segment
- Develop, drive, and execute account strategies to consistently deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify new revenue opportunities within your Regulated Verticals account portfolio
- Serve on a cross-functional account team with representatives from product, finance, support, and services teams
- Run a disciplined forecast, consistently achieve goals, and present guidance to executive management
- Run highly consultative sales cycles with our largest customers, focusing on deep discovery and listening to customer needs
- Generate and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast utilizing our CRM, Salesforce
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 1 year dedicated to major account or strategic sales
- Expertise in managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions for customers
- Proven track record of relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting
- Comfortable working with business and highly technical leaders, while influencing their understanding of our products and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and tactically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the communications platform industry or a related field
- Knowledge of cloud-based software and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and technologies, such as Salesforce and Excel
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as Sales Force Certification or HubSpot Sales Certification
