About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive 4 role at Twilio is a critical position that requires a unique blend of sales acumen, industry expertise, and strategic thinking. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding Twilio's relationships with its largest and most strategic customers. This will involve developing and executing account plans, identifying new revenue opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers.The role is highly analytical and consultative, requiring a deep understanding of the customer's business and industry. You will need to be able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and navigate complex sales cycles to drive revenue growth.

What You Will Do
- Manage and expand Twilio's relationships with its largest and most strategic customers
- Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
- Identify new revenue opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Navigate complex sales cycles to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with product management, finance, support, and operations teams to deliver customer solutions
- Run a disciplined forecast and consistently achieve sales targets
- Present guidance to executive management and provide insights on customer trends and needs
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer's business and industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer accounts
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to major account or strategic sales
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction in a sales role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the tech industry, with a focus on communications or software sales
- Knowledge of the communications industry, including trends, technologies, and key players
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, finance, support, and operations
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as CSPO or Sandler Training
