About the Role

Twilio is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive 4 to lead its retail vertical, focusing on managing and expanding key customer accounts. What You Will Do

  • Manage and expand existing retail customer accounts to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify new revenue opportunities within your assigned accounts.
  • Serve as a key member of the cross-functional account team, working closely with product, finance, support, and services teams.
  • Run a disciplined forecast, achieving goals and presenting guidance to executive management.
  • Conduct highly consultative sales cycles, focusing on deep discovery and understanding customer needs.
  • Utilize Salesforce to generate and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted subject matter expert, sharing industry updates and insights with the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights on customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Twilio's products and services, as well as the retail industry and market trends.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year dedicated to major account or strategic sales.
  • Proven expertise in managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions for customers.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to cross-sell and upsell solutions to customers.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with internal teams and customers.
  • A strong understanding of the retail industry and market trends, with the ability to provide insights and feedback to the sales organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
