About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive 4 role at Twilio is a critical position that involves managing high-value prospects and customers across the EMEA region, with a focus on the UK and Ireland. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. What You Will Do
- Servicing the fastest-growing customers in the region and driving revenue growth
- Growing revenue and gross profit share of wallet within your key account list
- Opening doors to the purchase of Twilio's products and services, including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, and account security software
- Maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders
- Creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process
- Selling solutions to a technical and business audience and building trust and mutual respect with customers and peers
- Thinking outside the box and having extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills to make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple
- Balancing challenging priorities and handling multiple projects/deals at the same time
- Identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities within your account list
What We Are Looking For
- 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base
- History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to SMB
- Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis and a track record of Account Management experience
- Solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base, including revenue and gross profit tracking, risk, and opportunity cadence
- Experience selling both to a business and technical audience and a strong understanding of how to cross and upsell solutions within a mature customer base
Nice to Have
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in sales and customer management
- Knowledge of the communications and technology industries, including trends and innovations
- Familiarity with Twilio's products and services, including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, and account security software
- Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CRM or sales methodology
