## About the Role The Strategic Account Executive role at Gitlab is a critical position that entails building and expanding the company's presence across Brazil by establishing trusted relationships with senior leaders at large organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of the AI-powered DevSecOps platform and the ability to connect customer business needs with Gitlab's solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consultative sales and experience in guiding teams through complex platform decisions.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be working closely with pre-sales, post-sales, partner, marketing, and support teams to bring strong account leadership, customer outcomes, and clear communication in both English and Portuguese. Your primary focus will be on supporting strategic accounts across the full customer journey, from early conversations through adoption, and positioning Gitlab as a leading DevSecOps partner in the Brazilian market.

## What You Will Do - Lead strategic account activity for large prospects and customers across Brazil, providing direction throughout pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

  • Develop opportunities within enterprise accounts through prospecting, relationship building, and a consultative understanding of customer business needs.
  • Create account plans and customer proposals that clearly connect Gitlab capabilities to organizational priorities and transformation goals.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of account plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders at large organizations, understanding their business needs and positioning Gitlab as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, using this knowledge to inform account strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and messaging that resonates with the Brazilian market.
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to help shape the development of Gitlab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
  • Develop and execute plans to expand Gitlab's presence in Brazil, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in the DevSecOps or software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Brazilian market and the ability to navigate complex business environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
  • Experience with AI-powered DevSecOps platforms and a deep understanding of their applications and benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
