About the Role

The Strategic Account Executive role at Fourthline is a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive the company's expansion in the DACH region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing complex, multi-threaded deals using the MEDDPICC methodology. Your day-to-day activities will involve building and executing account plans, identifying and engaging with key decision-makers, and driving deals forward to closure.

The DACH region is a critical market for Fourthline, and the company is committed to establishing a strong presence in the region. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of this effort, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and procurement teams.

What You Will Do

  • Own and close enterprise opportunities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, using the MEDDPICC methodology to drive deals forward
  • Build and execute account plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and procurement teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales engineering and customer success, to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
  • Forecast accurately in CRM (Hubspot) based on MEDDPICC hygiene
  • Partner with sales engineering, customer success, and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Prospecting and generating new leads through outbound efforts, events, and marketing campaigns
  • Qualify and advance deals using MEDDPICC, ensuring every stage is covered, from metrics to paper process
  • Develop and coach internal sponsors to drive deals forward

What We Are Looking For

  • 5-10 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the fintech or SaaS industry
  • Native German and strong English language skills
  • A strong network in financial services, with established relationships with key stakeholders
  • A proven track record of closing 6-7 figure deals with DACH enterprises
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive outcomes, identify opportunities, and assess risks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding presentation abilities
  • Solid understanding of SaaS technology and product mindset
  • Agile and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with MEDDPICC, with the ability to walk through a deal and identify gaps
  • Comfortable prospecting and generating new leads through outbound efforts and events

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with fintech or banking clients
  • Knowledge of the DACH market and its key players
  • Familiarity with Hubspot CRM and other sales tools
  • Certification in sales or a related field
