About the Role
Gitlab is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to join their team in Dubai. As a key player in the company's sales strategy, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company's presence in the region. This role entails working closely with large, strategic prospects and customers to identify business needs and develop tailored solutions.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the tech industry, particularly in the areas of DevSecOps, and be able to leverage this knowledge to drive sales and growth. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and will need to be able to think strategically and make informed decisions quickly.

What You Will Do
- Support Gitlab's strategic large prospects and customers
- Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
- Conduct sales activities, including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts
- Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Gitlab products through strong account management activities
- Be the voice of the customer, contributing product ideas to the public issue tracker
- Generate qualified leads and develop new customers in conjunction with strategic channel partners
- Expand knowledge of the industry and the competitive posture of the company
- Prepare activity and forecast reports
- Contribute to root cause analysis on wins/losses
- Communicate lessons learned to the team, including account managers, marketing, and technical teams
- Assist sales management in conveying customer needs to product managers and technical support staff
- Utilize a consultative approach, discussing business issues with prospects and developing formal quotes, sales proposals, or sales presentations
- Develop an account plan to sell to customers based on their business needs
- Collaborate with marketing on marketing strategies
