Job Description

About the Role

Twilio is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to manage high-value clients and grow revenue across the EMEA region, with a focus on the DACH market. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing fast-growing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies that meet the needs of Twilio's clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales success, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling Twilio's products and services.

What You Will Do

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value clients across the EMEA region, with a focus on the DACH market
  • Identify new sales opportunities and drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling Twilio's products and services
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that meet the needs of Twilio's clients
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to grow revenue
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities
  • Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contract process
  • Sell solutions to a technical and business audience
  • Balance challenging priorities and handle multiple projects/deals at the same time
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base
  • History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to Digital Natives
  • Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis
  • Track record of Account Management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross and upsell solutions within a mature customer base
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base - Revenue tracking
  • German language proficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment

  • Experience selling both to a business and technical audience
  • Knowledge of the cloud communications industry
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools
  • Certification in sales or a related field
