## About the Role The Strategic Account Executive position at Twilio is designed for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional looking to make a significant impact in the EMEA region, with a particular focus on the DACH market. ## What You Will Do - Servicing the fastest-growing customers in the region to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

  • Growing revenue and share of wallet within your key account list through the upselling and cross-selling of Twilio's products and services.
  • Opening doors to the purchase of Twilio’s products and services, including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, and account security software.
  • Maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and timely issue resolution.
  • Creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process to ensure smooth and successful sales cycles.
  • Selling solutions to both technical and business audiences, requiring the ability to communicate complex technical and financial details in a clear and simple manner.
  • Building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers through exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thinking outside the box to find creative solutions to complex sales challenges and to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Balancing challenging priorities and handling multiple projects/deals at the same time, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including sales engineers, customer success managers, and product specialists, to ensure aligned and effective sales strategies.
## What We Are Looking For - 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base.
  • History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to digital natives.
  • Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis, with a strong track record of revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Track record of Account Management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross and upsell solutions within a mature customer base.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base, including revenue tracking and analysis.
  • German language proficiency, with the ability to communicate fluently with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop targeted sales strategies.
## Nice to Have - Experience selling both to business and technical stakeholders, with a deep understanding of how to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of the cloud communications industry, with an understanding of trends and developments in the market.

  • Certification in sales or a related field, such as a CSP or a sales methodology certification.
