About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive position at Twilio represents a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by developing new customer relationships within the LATAM region. This involves building trust and understanding with senior line of business owners and executive stakeholders to identify and capitalize on opportunities where Twilio's communication solutions can address the unique challenges and pains of these businesses. As part of Twilio's sales team, you will be at the forefront of the company's mission to revolutionize how the world interacts, leveraging your consultative sales process to discover and close new logos.Day-to-day, this role entails a deep dive into the needs and goals of potential clients, organizing and conducting sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling infrastructure software or platform solutions, with a strong understanding of the LATAM market and its nuances. The role requires exceptional prospecting skills, the ability to generate a significant portion of your pipeline, and proficiency in using Salesforce.com for tracking sales activity, pipeline, and revenue metrics.

What You Will Do
- Deliver Net New Sales from within your defined territory to attain your Sales Targets.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan, conducting territory visits to meet customers face-to-face at least 50% of your work time.
- Develop and execute sales plans with your cross-functional partners to drive predictable sales cycles.
- Maintain accurate information within our CRM and provide well-informed forecast numbers to the business.
- Build new relationships with senior line of business owners and executive stakeholders to develop sales by understanding and uncovering new opportunities.
- Contribute to the business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fun atmosphere.
- Represent Twilio in a consistent, effective, and professional manner to best develop and win new clients.
- Organize and conduct sales presentations at prospective and current customers’ offices, site visits, and product demonstrations to prospects.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your sales strategy and approach.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of quota-carrying and account management experience in selling infrastructure software or platform solutions to companies with a large presence in LATAM.
- Exceptional prospecting skill set, with the ability to generate the bulk of your own pipeline.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com for tracking sales activity, pipeline, and revenue metrics.
- Experience with value-based sales strategies and the ability to articulate the value of Twilio’s solutions.
- Strong understanding of the LATAM market, its challenges, and opportunities.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment, with excellent time management and self-motivation skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
