In this role, the Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for managing and expanding existing customer relationships, developing and executing account strategies, and identifying new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You Will Do
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships with Twilio's largest and most strategic customers
- Develop and execute analytical sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth
- Identify new revenue opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to pursue them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials
- Work closely with the sales team to share best practices, develop new sales strategies, and drive team performance
- Manage complex sales cycles, including negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the product management team to provide feedback on product development and roadmap
What We Are Looking For
- More than 12 years of combined experience in major account or strategic sales, managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions for customers
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong focus on customer relationship management and revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies
- Experience working in the communications industry, with a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on innovation and customer-centricity
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management
