About the Role
The Strategic Account Executive role at Unilever is a critical position that drives sales growth and distribution for the company's products in the General Trade and Modern Trade channels. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated territory, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and distributors. This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian market, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape, as well as the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and optimize sales performance.The Strategic Account Executive will work closely with the Strategic Account Manager to develop and implement sales plans, negotiate with distributors, and monitor sales performance. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and excellent customer service. With a strong focus on customer-centricity, the successful candidate will be expected to provide insights and recommendations to customers, helping them to grow their business and increase sales of Unilever products.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and distribution of Unilever products in the General Trade and Modern Trade channels
- Manage a designated territory, including developing and maintaining relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and optimize sales performance to achieve sales targets
- Negotiate with distributors and customers to secure optimal pricing, promotions, and distribution agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
- Provide insights and recommendations to customers to help them grow their business and increase sales of Unilever products
- Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize sales results
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Indian market, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including new product launches, promotions, and partnerships
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and distribution in the General Trade and Modern Trade channels
- Excellent skills in ROI calculations, distributor management, and sales planning
- Strong understanding of the Indian market, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and optimize sales performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and act decisively
- Proficiency in Excel and other sales analytics tools
Nice to Have
- Experience in managing and developing sales teams
- Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms
- Certification in sales or marketing, such as an MBA or a professional sales certification
- Experience in working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
