About the Role
As a Strategic Account Executive at Atlassian, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with internal teams, Channel Partners, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to deliver solutions that align with customer objectives. You will be the main point of contact for designated strategic accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.The role is part of a dynamic sales team that is driving the company's revenue growth through the adoption of its software solutions. With a strong focus on customer success, the team works closely with customers to understand their business goals and challenges, providing tailored solutions to address their needs. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be expected to provide regular updates and forecasts on sales performance to senior management, contributing to the development of the company's sales strategy.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement named Account or Territory plans geared towards maximizing expansion opportunities across a wide portfolio of products
- Build and maintain relationships with C-level and other executive relationships
- Identify key decision-makers within target accounts and build strong relationships with them
- Collaborate with internal teams, Channel Partners, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to streamline sales processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- Provide regular updates and forecasts on sales performance to senior management
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers
- Travel as necessary to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in conferences
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the sales team, if applicable
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of quota-carrying Enterprise Software Sales experience
- Proven track record of success in managing high-value accounts and developing strategic sales plans
- Strong understanding of sales strategy and customer success
- Experience with HubSpot and Adjust
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate complex sales negotiations and build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

- Experience working with cloud-based software solutions
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its applications in sales
