About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager position at SkinMedica is a critical role that involves representing the company's prestigious brands, including SkinMedica, DiamondGlow, and Latisse, to targeted aesthetic customers across a designated geographical area. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, executing pull-through programs, and providing technical product expertise to customers. This role requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and technical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing key resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of sales strategies that drive business results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aesthetic market, including non-surgical, non-invasive skin resurfacing equipment and topical skincare consumables.
As part of a high-performance sales team, the Strategic Account Manager will be expected to achieve assigned sales goals through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan. This will involve leveraging company resources, managing field assets, and demonstrating adaptability in the face of multiple initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Represent SkinMedica, DiamondGlow, and Latisse brands to targeted aesthetic customers
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth
- Provide technical product and procedure expertise to customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Facial Aesthetics, Plastic Surgery, and Marketing
- Manage field assets and resources effectively
- Achieve assigned sales goals through creative, consultative selling
- Implement the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan and leverage company resources
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and proper use
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical aesthetics industry
- Strong understanding of the aesthetic market, including non-surgical, non-invasive skin resurfacing equipment and topical skincare consumables
- Excellent sales, marketing, and technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to multiple initiatives
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage field assets and resources effectively
- Proficiency in Excel and other sales reporting tools
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive sales growth
