About the Role
The Strategic Content Writer role at REGEX SEO is a unique opportunity for a creative and analytical mind to drive business results. As a key member of the team, you'll develop and execute content strategies across local SEO, PPC, and email marketing. Your primary mission will be to craft compelling narratives that convert, leveraging data-driven insights to solve clients' growth challenges. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute hyper-local SEO strategies that dominate map packs and local search
- Craft high-conversion PPC and ad copy for Google Ads, social media ads, and landing pages
- Architect strategic email marketing campaigns for lead nurturing, client onboarding, re-engagement, and direct sales
- Conduct UX and conversion copywriting audits to improve user experience and increase conversion rates
- Analyze, report, and iterate on campaign performance using Google Analytics and SEMrush
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local algorithm, citation building, and NAP consistency
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative solutions to complex challenges
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in SEO, PPC, and email marketing
- Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize campaign performance
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve client websites, landing pages, and funnels
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5+ years of experience in a strategic content role, preferably within an agency setting
- Proven track record of direct impact on lead generation, sales, and user engagement across SEO, PPC, and email
- Exceptional English proficiency, specifically American English
- Mastery of local SEO, including the local algorithm, citation building, and NAP consistency
- A/B testing mindset, with the ability to validate creative instincts with data
- UX empathy, with the ability to articulate why a webpage may be underperforming
- Intellectual horsepower and grit, with the ability to build and test solutions to complex challenges
- High accountability, with a deep sense of personal ownership over work and its outcomes
- Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Excel
Nice to Have
- Experience with email marketing automation tools
- Certification in Google Ads or Analytics
- Familiarity with UX design principles and human-centered design
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to speak Spanish, given the company's location in Mexico
