About the Role

The Strategic Enterprise Consultant position at Red Hat North America Public Sector is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of the U.S. Public Sector landscape. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for evaluating new supplier opportunities, engaging with executive leadership, and identifying strategic value opportunities. Your expertise in GTM and programmatic initiatives will be crucial in driving growth and revenue expansion in the public sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supervising employees, with at least 10 years of relevant work experience. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing is required, and experience working with federal, defense, intelligence, and SLED mission requirements is highly desirable. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and marketing, to design and launch programmatic offerings tailored to the public sector.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize go-to-market opportunities that support federal, defense, intelligence, and SLED mission requirements
  • Engage with Red Hat and key ecosystem executives to co-develop and champion joint go-to-market plays
  • Design, enable, and launch programmatic offerings tailored to the public sector, including compliant solution bundles and partner enablement
  • Evaluate and activate opportunities by DoD, Civilian, Intelligence Community, and SLED, ensuring Red Hat solutions are positioned for multi-region and mission-scale deployments
  • Define and track ROI across North America Public Sector initiatives, including revenue growth, CGP expansion, pipeline development, and front-end profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and select strategic value opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, suppliers, and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, including hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and AI/automation
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • 10-15 years of relevant work experience in the public sector or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience directly managing or supervising employees
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. Public Sector landscape, including federal, defense, intelligence, and SLED procurement models
  • Experience working with contract vehicles and acquisition pathways, including GWACs, IDIQs, and state contracts
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks, including FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, and Zero Trust architecture
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Red Hat products and solutions, including OpenShift and Ansible
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
