About the Role

The Strategic Finance Director at Capchase will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and planning. This leader will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and models that inform business decisions and drive growth. As a key member of the finance team, the Strategic Finance Director will work closely with senior leadership, including the executive team and the Board, to shape the company's financial trajectory.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in strategic finance, investment banking, or corporate development. They will possess advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, as well as experience with BI tools and data analysis. The ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and drive data-driven decision-making will be essential in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and plans that inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the company's financial strategy and trajectory
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the executive team, the Board, and investors
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes that drive business outcomes
  • Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to optimize financial performance
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting and dashboard systems that provide timely and accurate insights
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis training programs for junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business outcomes

What We Are Looking For

  • 4-6+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience with BI tools and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to simplify complex problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis principles
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members

  • Experience working in the fintech or financial services industry
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
  • Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
