The Strategic Outreach Specialist role at Jovie is designed to foster strong relationships with financial advisors across the United States. This position involves initiating outbound conversations, educating advisors on the unique approach of Pathfinders, and scheduling qualified partnership meetings. The ultimate goal is to drive long-term client referrals through strategic alliances. Day-to-day, the role entails a mix of research, outreach, and relationship-building activities. What You Will Do

  • Conduct daily cold calls to financial advisors, RIAs, wealth managers, and planners to initiate conversations and build interest in Pathfinders’ services.
  • Identify and target firms that serve families with high school–aged children, recognizing the potential for long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and lead with insights that resonate with financial advisors, such as the impact of rising college costs and student debt on family wealth.
  • Clearly articulate Pathfinders’ unique value proposition and career-first approach to differentiate from traditional planning methods.
  • Navigate through gatekeepers and decision-makers to secure meetings with key advisors.
  • Schedule introductory partnership meetings with Pathfinders leadership and ensure a smooth handover process.
  • Qualify advisors based on client demographic fit, interest in value-added services, and openness to collaboration.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, conversations, and follow-ups within the CRM system.
  • Execute a consistent follow-up cadence to nurture leads and build relationships over time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and maximize the potential of each partnership.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar outreach or business development role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of the financial advisory landscape and the challenges faced by families with high school–aged children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and persuasively.
  • Proven track record of successfully initiating and maintaining professional relationships via phone and digital channels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and experience with pipeline management tools.
