About the Role
As a Strategic Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth of OpenAI's Enterprise Go-To-Market organization. You will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and advancing complex enterprise opportunities, working closely with Account Directors and other stakeholders to develop and execute targeted sales strategies. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with key decision-makers at top companies, understanding their business needs, and showcasing the value of OpenAI's AI platform.The sales development team at OpenAI is a launching pad for future enterprise sellers, offering significant exposure to executive sales, product, and customer strategy. You will develop core skills in discovery, stakeholder mapping, deal shaping, and executive communication, while building a deep understanding of how leading companies adopt AI. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of professional experience in sales, a strong track record of hitting and exceeding targets, and a deep understanding of the AI landscape.

The team partners with organizations across various industries, including Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Retail, to build new AI-powered customer experiences, transform operations, and reimagine how work gets done. As a key member of this team, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of OpenAI's AI platform and contributing to the company's mission of ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Account Directors on account strategy, multi-threading, and deal progression
- Design and execute targeted outbound strategies using industry context, stakeholder mapping, and product signal to break into priority accounts
- Lead high-quality discovery to uncover business priorities, map stakeholders, and assess enterprise readiness
- Contribute to pipeline reviews by sharing outbound activity, account insights, and early competitive signals
- Build and iterate on AI-enabled GTM workflows to scale prospecting and qualification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of OpenAI's products and services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in AI adoption
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales and product teams to inform product development and sales strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 4-6 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in enterprise SaaS sales
- Strong communication and executive presence skills
- Ability to build credibility with senior C-Suite stakeholders across an organization
- Experience selling into regulated or complex industries, such as Financial Services, Life Sciences, or Retail
- Strong understanding of the AI landscape and the ability to connect OpenAI products to real customer value and business outcomes
- Business-level fluency in Portuguese
- Strong interest in the AI landscape and a desire to learn and grow with the company
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ownership

- Experience with sales automation tools and technologies
