About the Role
The Strategic Sales Executive position at SailPoint is a critical role that involves selling the company's Identity Security Solution to key clients. This role requires a skilled communicator who can analyze prospects' needs, present the value of SailPoint's solutions, and provide a superior customer experience. As a strategic sales executive, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering sales wins and customer success.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the identity security market, including the challenges that organizations face in managing access to applications and data. You will be expected to leverage your knowledge of SailPoint's solutions and their competitive advantages to position the company's products effectively in the market.
As a sales executive at SailPoint, you will be working closely with a team of professionals, including partner resources, pre-sales, partner managers, deal desk, professional services, and customer success teams. Your ability to lead a virtual team, take initiative, and make strategic decisions will be essential in driving sales growth and delivering customer success.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis
- Engage with customers and business partners to maintain a high level of customer service that aligns with SailPoint's core values
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans through partners and end-users
- Pursue all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated
- Lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to the customer
- Follow-up with customers and partner with post-sale teams to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of the account
- Initiate, navigate, and manage discussions across all levels of a customer's organization
- Utilize all channel management and reporting tools, including accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene
- Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their specific needs and interests
- Develop business plans that align with the assigned territory
What We Are Looking For
- Skilled communicator with experience in sales, preferably in the identity security market
- Proficient in Salesforce and Excel
- Strong understanding of the identity security market, including the challenges that organizations face in managing access to applications and data
- Ability to lead a virtual team and take initiative
- Experience in developing and executing territory plans to achieve revenue quota goals
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
