About the Role
The Strategic Success Manager plays a pivotal role in BenchPrep's Customer Success organization, focusing on renewing and growing customer relationships. This involves strategically managing customer accounts to achieve long-term business goals, contracts, renewals, and upsell opportunities. By building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers, the Strategic Success Manager ensures customers derive ongoing value from BenchPrep's solutions.As the primary point of contact for strategic business engagements, the SSM manages impactful touchpoints like Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and contract discussions. Collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Product, and Support, is crucial to delivering on customer expectations and driving revenue growth.
BenchPrep's learning platform incorporates the latest in learner-centered technology, including personalization, gamification, data science, usability, and omni-channel delivery. This innovative approach has led to significant growth, with nearly 12 million learners using the platform worldwide. The Strategic Success Manager will be integral in sustaining and expanding this success.
What You Will Do
- Strategically manage customer accounts to achieve long-term business goals and revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer decision-makers
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other strategic touchpoints
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support teams to meet customer needs
- Identify and pursue upsell opportunities
- Develop and execute account plans tailored to each customer's needs
- Analyze customer data to inform strategic decisions
- Communicate the value of BenchPrep's solutions to customers
- Manage contract discussions and renewals
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in customer success or a related field, preferably in the digital learning or education technology sector
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing long-term customer relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and manage distributed teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with digital tools and platforms for customer success management
- Understanding of the learning technology industry and its trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with data analysis tools for customer insights
