About the Role

The Strategy & Operations role at TLDR is a pivotal position that will drive high-priority initiatives across the company, ensuring alignment and scalability. As a key member of the team, you will own and drive initiatives end-to-end, scoping deliverables, setting milestones, and managing dependencies across teams. Your expertise will be crucial in structuring ambiguous problems into clear analyses and action plans, providing recommendations that inform strategic decisions.

As part of the TLDR team, you will work closely with the CEO, functional leads, and execution teams to ensure outcomes are measurable and repeatable. Your focus will be on building and improving operational cadences, such as reporting cycles, planning processes, and review rhythms. You will also maintain shared sources of truth, partnering with functional owners to investigate discrepancies and validate data definitions.

What You Will Do

  • Own and drive high-priority initiatives end-to-end across any function
  • Scope deliverables, set milestones, and manage dependencies across teams
  • Structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses and action plans
  • Help design and run the company's operating cadences, such as reporting cycles and planning processes
  • Identify areas where process is missing or breaking and stand up lightweight systems
  • Act as the connective tissue between the CEO, functional leads, and execution teams
  • Maintain shared sources of truth, partnering with functional owners to investigate discrepancies
  • Deliver analyses that directly inform major strategic decisions
  • Build or improve recurring operational cadences, such as planning cycles or metrics reporting
  • Earn trust as the person leadership turns to when something important needs to get done well and fast

What We Are Looking For

  • 5-7+ years of experience in business operations, finance, or management consulting
  • At least 2 years of experience in a cross-functional ops or chief-of-staff-type role at a high-growth company
  • Analytically rigorous, with experience building models, trackers, and analyses from scratch
  • Effective cross-functional operator, able to drive execution across teams without creating friction
  • Strong communicator, able to translate complex analysis into clear, exec-ready outputs
  • Experience with CRM/RevOps systems, such as HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Advanced spreadsheets skills, with SQL or BI tools experience a plus

Nice to Have

  • MBA or equivalent analytical training
  • Exposure to media, advertising, or newsletter business models
  • AI/automation proficiency for workflow optimization
