## About the Role The Streaming Media Assistant is a critical member of the Live Orchestration Department at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. This team is responsible for the daily operations of live and on-demand streaming video products, ensuring round-the-clock support and proper functionality across all platforms. As a Streaming Media Assistant, you will be working closely with a team of technicians to deliver high-profile media products to market. The role entails a deep understanding of live and on-demand streaming media orchestration, system health monitoring, and incident management. You will be responsible for executing defined processes to validate the quality and availability of live content streams and raising awareness of issues in workflows when they arise. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. The Live Orchestration Department is part of a larger organization that is reimagining the way people experience entertainment and sports content.
