About the Role

As an Advanced Analytics Curriculum Development Intern at SAS, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and teaching educational assets in the areas of machine learning, data science, statistics, optimization, and forecasting. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with the Advanced Analytics Curriculum team to create high-quality educational content, including blogs, videos, and course lessons. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects, providing feedback on educational assets under development and testing features in new software releases.

What You Will Do

  • Provide feedback on educational assets under development, such as blogs, videos, and course lessons
  • Review current training assets and test features in new software releases
  • Curate and simulate data sets to demonstrate concepts in advanced analytics
  • Learn about new features in SAS analytical software and develop short tutorials to explain them
  • Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics Curriculum team to develop high-quality educational content
  • Participate in hackathons and social events to connect with other professionals and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Develop strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Embrace technology and stay current with industry developments to continuously improve skills and knowledge

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, data science, econometrics, or psychometrics
  • Programming experience in one or more languages, including SAS, Python, or R
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Curiosity, passion, and accountability, with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Experience with data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
