About the Role
As an Advanced Analytics Curriculum Development Intern at SAS, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and teaching educational assets in the areas of machine learning, data science, statistics, optimization, and forecasting. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with the Advanced Analytics Curriculum team to create high-quality educational content, including blogs, videos, and course lessons. What You Will Do
- Provide feedback on educational assets under development, such as blogs, videos, and course lessons
- Review current training assets and test features in new software releases
- Curate and simulate data sets to demonstrate concepts in advanced analytics
- Learn about new features in SAS analytical software and develop short tutorials to explain them
- Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics Curriculum team to develop high-quality educational content
- Participate in hackathons and social events to connect with other professionals and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Develop strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty to achieve team goals and objectives
- Embrace technology and stay current with industry developments to continuously improve skills and knowledge
What We Are Looking For
- Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, data science, econometrics, or psychometrics
- Programming experience in one or more languages, including SAS, Python, or R
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Curiosity, passion, and accountability, with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
