About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Develop and motivate employees through strong communication, timely feedback, and valuable coaching
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, including monitoring inventory levels and future forecasts
  • Identify ways to create a work environment where employees feel valued and engaged
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1 sessions with employees and communicate with the team through staff meetings and team huddles
  • Address sensitive employee performance and behavior issues in a timely manner
  • Track attendance and tardiness, and provide progressive discipline for attendance and performance issues
  • Develop and strengthen working relationships with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors
  • Serve as a change-agent in implementing process and organizational change efforts
  • Engage in service recovery activities, including addressing escalated customer issues
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, including monitoring current inventory levels and future forecasts
  • Grow a strong understanding of the tasks and responsibilities of direct reports, and assist in these tasks as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least two years of supervisor experience, with startup or team-building experience a plus
  • Ability to develop and engage with employees
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and work well with others
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, both internal and external
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quality-driven with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet assigned deadlines
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office, including Excel
