About the Role
The Supply Chain Executive role at Pharmanovia is a critical position that involves managing the 'Procure to Pay' cycle of pharmaceutical products from third-party Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) worldwide. This role is the first point of contact for both external and internal stakeholders regarding the managed portfolio and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager for External Manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain, from demand forecasting to inventory management, and will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.The role entails close collaboration with various teams, including customer services, warehousing, and distribution, to support business objectives. It also involves working closely with CMOs, distributors, regulatory, artwork, and IT teams to resolve supply chain issues and implement process improvements. Given the nature of the pharmaceutical industry, the Supply Chain Executive must have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including those related to controlled drugs, dangerous goods, and devices.

What You Will Do
- Manage the 'Procure to Pay' cycle of pharmaceutical products from third-party CMOs globally.
- Support demand forecasting and customer services, warehousing, and distribution teams by producing various daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Understand and interrogate Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data flows to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement the supply chain component of acquisition projects to meet business goals within designated time frames and budgets.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure a smooth transition of Market Authorisation (MA) ownership and plan for new stock in Pharmanovia-approved trade dress.
- Set up and validate master data in the ERP system, ensuring timely input into the CMO's planning system to meet company KPIs.
- Address supply chain issues related to bridging stock, serialisation, and temperature evidence while maintaining high standards of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Provide inventory and buying support analysis, drawing insights from data to make recommendations to the business.
- Work closely with CMOs, distributors, regulatory, artwork, and IT teams to resolve artwork or packaging supply issues and implement process improvements.
- Identify areas for improvement, develop business cases, and engage relevant stakeholders to secure buy-in for developing new tools and action plans.
- Resolve challenges concerning transportation, logistics, imports/exports, customs clearance, or customer issues.
- Provide early warnings of impending product or stock problems to internal colleagues.
- Identify and resolve complex supply chain data issues.
- Ensure data integrity and adhere to Pharmanovia's work ethics and culture.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.
- CSCP/MBA certification or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, preferably in supply chain management, acquisition, and integration, supply planning, and procurement of medicinal products.
- Experience with controlled drugs, dangerous goods, and devices, including understanding of different HA regulations/norms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems and master data management.
- Understanding of supply chain KPIs and data flows.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the pharmaceutical industry.
