Job Description

About the Role

Supabase is seeking a Support Engineer to provide world-class developer support for users experiencing issues or seeking guidance. The role is part of a globally distributed team that works closely with product engineering and growth teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely responses to support cases on various topics, including billing, optimization, and implementation questions.
  • Triage support cases by directing users to relevant documentation, code examples, or escalating to technical or business team members.
  • Monitor multiple feedback channels, including Github Issues & Discussions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer support, preferably providing developer support to technical customers.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, with comfort in complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication skills and English fluency.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, and Svelte, and experience with Node.js.
  • Database administration experience and a degree in Computer Science are pluses.
