About the Role
Supabase is seeking Support Engineers to provide world-class developer support for users of their Postgres development platform. This role involves working closely with the product engineering and growth teams to ensure timely and effective support.Responsibilities
- Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases, covering topics from billing and pre-sales requests to optimization and implementation questions.
- Triage support cases, directing users to relevant answers, code examples, documentation, or escalating issues to specific technical or business team members.
- Monitor multiple feedback channels, including Github Issues and Discussions.
- Identify opportunities for improving support efficiency through internal tooling.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer support, specifically providing developer support to technical customers.
- Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and comfort with complex SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.
- Familiarity with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
Nice to Have
- Database administration experience.
- Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, and Svelte, and some experience with Node.js.
- A degree in Computer Science.
