Job Description
About the Role
Supabase is seeking a Support Engineer to provide world-class developer support for users experiencing issues or seeking guidance. This is a fully remote, full-time position requiring proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities
- Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases
- Triage support cases, directing users to previous answers, code examples, documentation, or escalating to specific technical or business team members
- Monitor multiple feedback channels, including Github Issues & Discussions
- Identify where internal tooling might improve support efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in customer support, providing developer support to technical customers
- Proficiency in SQL, with comfort in complex SQL queries
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Skilled in using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, and Svelte, and experience with Node.js
- Database administration experience
