About the Role
The Systems Engineer role at Fortinet is a key position in the German Sales Organization, working closely with customers to understand their business and technical requirements. As a trusted technical advisor, you will design and deliver persuasive technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that showcase Fortinet's Security Fabric. This role entails collaborating with sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive customer engagement and build long-term relationships.The role is primarily home-office based in Germany, with access to Fortinet offices in Frankfurt, Munich, and Hamburg. You will typically support customers and partners within your region, leveraging your technical expertise to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do
- Deliver engaging, informative, and customer-focused product demonstrations that showcase Fortinet's market-leading technology and innovation.
- Conduct technical enablement sessions—online and on-site—for Fortinet partners, helping them deepen their technical expertise and successfully position Fortinet solutions.
- Support the planning, setup, and execution of PoCs using Fortinet solutions, ensuring technical success and strengthening customer confidence in Fortinet as the best security platform on the market.
- Ensure that sales teams are equipped with the latest technical knowledge, best practices, and competitive insights to succeed in customer engagements.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive customer engagement and build long-term relationships.
- Design and deliver persuasive technical presentations that clearly articulate Fortinet's value and differentiation.
- Work closely with customers to understand their business and technical requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor activity.
- Provide input and feedback to internal stakeholders on customer needs and market trends.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong interest in IT security and a desire to continuously grow in a dynamic, fast-evolving industry.
- Relevant experience in technical sales, customer engagement, or a related field.
- Fluency in both German and English, with confidence presenting in both languages.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with cybersecurity solutions, preferably with Fortinet products.
