What You Will Do
- Design and deploy mission-critical communication systems for government and public safety customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for communication systems
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with communication systems
- Conduct site surveys and installations of communication systems
- Develop and implement testing and validation procedures for communication systems
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities
- Provide input to product development teams to improve communication systems
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of communication systems, including design, deployment, and maintenance
- Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience working with government and public safety customers
- Knowledge of APCO Project 25 communications standard
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or computer science
Nice to Have
- Experience with data services and mobile wireless networks
- Knowledge of other critical customers' sub-systems
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Certification in a related field, such as systems engineering or communication systems
