About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Experience Specialist II at Affirm is a critical role that focuses on leading and evolving the company's Engineering University Program. This program is designed to provide an exceptional experience for interns, apprentices, and new graduates, from program planning and event execution to cohort engagement and continuous program improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, talent acquisition, and employee experience, with a passion for fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable talent programs.

As a key member of the People team, the Talent Acquisition Experience Specialist II will partner closely with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, Engineering, People teams, and business leaders to deliver a seamless and enriching participant journey. This role requires a deep understanding of university recruiting, program management, and employee experience, with the ability to leverage expertise to lead multiple initiatives that foster inclusion, engagement, and development.

The Talent Acquisition Experience Specialist II will be responsible for assessing opportunities to enhance the program and drive an even more impactful experience for future cohorts. This will involve using participant feedback, stakeholder input, and program metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance program outcomes year over year.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Affirm's Engineering University Programs, including internship, apprenticeship, and new graduate programs.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for early-career talent through engaging programming, events, and development opportunities.
  • Partner closely with University Recruiting to ensure a seamless experience from candidate acceptance through program completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Talent Acquisition, People, and Learning & Development to align program goals, drive engagement, and measure success.
  • Use participant feedback, stakeholder input, and program metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance program outcomes year over year.
  • Manage program communications, timelines, logistics, and participant support across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including university partners, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, program management, and employee experience.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within talent, university recruiting, or employee experience programs.
  • Experience designing and managing university talent programs, including internships, campus recruiting initiatives, and early-career development programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to create exceptional participant experiences by partnering across teams, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Passion for fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable talent programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of talent acquisition principles, including sourcing, recruiting, and hiring practices.
