About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Cohere, you will be responsible for owning the full-cycle recruitment process for the company's tech teams, including Research, Applied ML, and Engineering. This role is crucial in identifying, attracting, and hiring the best talent in the industry, which will drive the company's mission to scale intelligence and serve humanity. You will work closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies, manage recruiting funnels, and source top talent.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for tech teams, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the industry
  • Manage recruiting funnels, track metrics, and analyze data to optimize the recruitment process
  • Partner with hiring managers and organizational leaders to understand their recruitment needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Source and recruit top talent through various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate fit, and make recommendations to hiring managers
  • Negotiate job offers, manage the onboarding process, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Collaborate with the talent team to develop and implement talent acquisition initiatives and projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve the recruitment process
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies and job boards
  • Develop and manage budgets for recruitment initiatives and projects

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the tech industry
  • Proven track record of attracting and recruiting top talent in the tech space
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, including trends, technologies, and innovations
  • Experience with recruitment tools and software, including Ashby and Excel
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and optimize the recruitment process
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, research, and product teams
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the company's goals and objectives

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including natural language processing and computer vision
  • Knowledge of the startup ecosystem and the challenges of scaling a high-growth company
  • Experience with talent acquisition initiatives, including employer branding, diversity and inclusion, and talent development
  • Certification in recruitment or human resources, such as SHRM or HRCI
  • Experience with remote recruitment, including virtual interviews and online assessments
