About the Role

The Team Lead, Paid Search position at Leadtech is a critical role that involves leading the paid search strategy and execution across the company's digital products. This role is not just about strategy; it requires a deep understanding of day-to-day campaign management, including campaign structure, bidding, keywords, and budget allocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small but high-performing team, ensuring clear priorities, fast execution, and strong performance accountability.

As part of the Leadtech team, the Team Lead, Paid Search will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Marketing Leadership, Data, Creative, Product, and CRO teams. This collaboration is essential for aligning growth strategy, forecasts, and execution. The role also involves building clear reporting routines and communicating performance updates, risks, and next steps to senior stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the paid search channel, ensuring strong execution across campaign structure, bidding, keywords, budget allocation, testing, and optimization.
  • Manage and coordinate a small paid search team, ensuring clear priorities, fast execution, and strong performance accountability.
  • Remain hands-on in campaign management, actively working inside the platforms and supporting daily optimizations.
  • Drive rapid scaling while maintaining strong control over efficiency, CPA, ROAS, payback, and other key business KPIs.
  • Define testing priorities across keywords, landing pages, bidding strategies, geographies, and campaign structures.
  • Monitor daily performance and quickly identify risks, opportunities, and required budget reallocations.
  • Work closely with Marketing Leadership, Data, Creative, Product, and CRO teams to align growth strategy, forecasts, and execution.
  • Build clear reporting routines and communicate performance updates, risks, and next steps to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the development of best practices and playbooks that can be replicated across other MAU growth projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience managing and scaling Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns in high-growth environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of campaign management, keyword strategy, bidding models, budget scaling, account structure, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with automation in paid search campaign management, including campaign creation at scale, automated bidding workflows, bulk optimization processes, scripts, feeds, and reporting automation.
  • Previous experience leading or coordinating a team, or strong potential and motivation to lead, ideally in a fast-paced performance marketing environment.
  • Ability to work with high budgets, aggressive growth targets, and fast-changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into clear actions.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and maintaining execution speed without losing quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
