About the Role

The Team Lead (.Net & Angular Developer) role at Gyrus Systems is a remote, full-time position that requires a seasoned developer to lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers. As a technical expert, you will drive architectural decisions, ensure the scalability and security of applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and deadlines. Your primary focus will be on developing robust, high-performance web applications using the .Net/C# stack and designing modern user interfaces with Angular.

In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to plan sprints, estimate efforts, and remove technical impediments. You will also participate in the hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members, contributing to the growth and development of the team.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4-8 software engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to established coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in the hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development of team members
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to define scope, estimate efforts, and plan sprints using Agile methodologies
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance web applications using the .Net/C# stack
  • Develop responsive and modern user interfaces using Angular (v10+) and related web technologies
  • Design and optimize database schemas and implement effective data access layers
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term fixes

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role
  • Expertise in .Net: deep knowledge of C#, ASP.Net Core, and RESTful API design
  • Expertise in Frontend: strong hands-on experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript
  • Proficiency in database design and query optimization with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural principles
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Excel and data analysis
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Certification in .Net or Angular development
