About the Role

As a Full-Stack Rails Tech Lead, you will:
  • Architect and implement LLM-powered web applications using Rails 8.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team to enhance user experiences across our platforms.
  • Lead technical decisions and integrate AI capabilities into our web applications.
This position allows for flexibility with remote work, aiming to maximize collaborative output using the ShapeUp method for project management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Rails applications.
  • Integrate LLMs within a microservices architecture.
  • Enhance front-end technology using Hotwire, StimulusJS, or React.
  • Optimize user interactions and system performance.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience in Ruby (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (Rails 6-8 preferred).
  • Strong skills in PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with Elasticsearch and Docker.
  • Solids experience with StimulusJS, JavaScript ES6, Tailwind CSS, and HTML.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML model integration.
  • Familiarity with caching and asynchronous processing for performance optimization.
